A critical role of the advanced practitioner is to act as a shepherd for the profession, keeping a strategic eye toward the future and preparing for it as technologies emerge, society evolves, and the evidentiary basis of the profession matures. To that end, this session is a look into the future of OMPT education, exploring the intersection of technologies like AI, traditional manual therapy education, person-centered care, health justice, and educational standards. A brief lecture will give way to a guided panel discussion with members of the research community, futurists, and individuals from the IFOMPT standards committee.
