General Terms and Conditions

Scope

The following terms and conditions apply exclusively to contracts for the sale of congress and event tickets concluded online, in written form, or verbally between Organizers Switzerland Ltd. and the purchaser of the congress and/or event tickets.

Please refer to the event website for further event-specific terms of participation.

Conclusion of contract

The person making the booking places a binding order by means of the completion of their registration. The contract is concluded when the participant has completed the online registration and is presented with the option of downloading their invoice or booking confirmation on the confirmation page. Additionally, a confirmation e-mail is sent to the participant and the invoice is sent to the person making the booking, though this is not required for the conclusion of the contract.

In the case of registrations made in writing (fax, e-mail, letter) or by telephone, the contract is concluded when the invoice and/or booking confirmation is sent to the person making the booking.

Settlement and due date of fees

Fees are invoiced on behalf of the organisers. The invoicing is made in the name of and to be paid to the account of Organizers Switzerland Ltd. and includes the legally applicable value-added tax.

Upon receipt of the invoice/booking confirmation, all fees become due by the payment due date stated on the invoice. Regardless of the stated due date, the invoice amount must in any case be paid in full prior to the start of the event.

If it becomes necessary to issue a repeat payment reminder, a handling fee of 30.00 US$ shall be charged.
Credit card payments made online will be processed by our partner datatrans (www.datatrans.biz). If the event is supervised on site by Organizers Switzerland Ltd., payment can also be made on site at the conference office.

Amendments and annulment

Making amendments to a booking or booking additional services is generally possible at no extra cost.

Changes to names incur a handling fee of  25.00 US$ and are only possible prior to the annulment of the booking.

The cancellation periods and costs stated on the event page apply to annulments. However in the case of a double booking or if the booking is annulled within 24 hours of making the booking, cancellations are generally possible at no extra cost and shall be reconfirmed by Organizers Switzerland Ltd. in writing. A (partial) cancellation subsequent to the start of the event is excluded in all cases.

In the case of direct debits returned by bank, banking fees shall be borne by the recipient of the credit note.
