| Anne-Sophie Parent is Secretary General of AGE Platform Europe, a EU network representing directly 40 million people aged 50+ across the EU-27 which she has been leading since 2002. AGE aims to voice and promote the interests of the 190 million inhabitants aged 50+ in the European Union. Ms. Parent sits on various advisory committees set up by the European Commission: European Pensions Forum, European Health Policy Forum, member of the Advisory Board of Assisted Ambient Living Joint Programme, of the More Years Better Lives Joint programme, Financial Services Users’ Group, Steering Group of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing. She is also a member of the Euro Retail Payment Board set up by the European Central Bank, of the Advisory Group of the UN-ECE Generations and Gender Programme and Expert Group of the Active Ageing Index. |

She led numerous consultations in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, care homes and at home. Teaching and research on elderly nutrition, hospital and community undernutrition, interdisciplinary work and ethics are her professional interests. |

| Since joining the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in 1981, William Frei has exercised several important functions and gained rich experience in the world of diplomacy. Among other positions he has served as Attaché to the Swiss Mission to the United Nations in Geneva and Minister of the Swiss Delegation to the OECD. Between 2006 and 2010, he was Swiss Consul General in Shanghai. Since 2010 he has acted as Minister for Relations with the European Parliament at the Mission of Switzerland to the European Union in Brussels. |

The last 25 years until retirement, was responsible for the International Industrial Relations and Social Policies world wide (72 countries) for Royal Philips International NV headquartered in the Netherlands. At the same time participating, being a member/chairperson and negotiating in international institutions such as the ILO, the OECD, the EU Commission, and the ERT (the European Round Table of Industrialists) and Employer Organisations. After retirement joined the NVOG. |

| Prof. Dr. Wilfried Schlüter, Professor for management and planning techniques in the health and care sector at the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau; mediator focusing on “labour and commerce”, in particular in the health and care sector, and E-Qalin trainer (sector-specific quality management); years of experience in the management of geriatric care facilities as care home director, as well as counsellor and educator in non-profit organisations in the care and health sector. From 1994 to 2002 Prof. Schlüter was president of the German Association for Home Directors DVLAB) and from 2001 to 2012 president of the European Association for Directors and Providers of Long-Term Care Services for the Elderly (E.D.E.). Since 2013 he has acted as the E.D.E.’s honorary president and representative for EU affairs. |

| Boris Koprivnikar graduated from the Faculty for Organizational Sciences at the University of Maribor (SI) in 1991. His work experiences includes building informatics solutions for logistics and education, introducing new technological solutions for the blind and visually impaired, leading a major social institution, which provides a rehabilitation centre, protected employment and a home for the elderly. He was President of the National Association of Social Institutions between 1997 and 2014. He has been member of the Executive Board of the E.D.E. since 2004, its Vice President since 2013, and coordinator of E.D.E. congress programmes since 2009. He has been involved in national and international projects mostly in the field of care for the elderly and has acted as a consultant to the Slovenian government and other governments from South Eastern Europe for several years, especially the field of long-term care regulation as well as organization and financing of public services for the elderly. In September 2014 Boris Koprivnikar became Minister for Public Administration of Slovenia. |

He is currently Director of the National Centre for Advanced Social Security Studies (EN3S) in Saint-Etienne, Vice-President of the High Council for Social Protection Financing (HCFi-PS) and President of the National Committee for the care pathways for persons at risk of loss of autonomy (PAERPA). |

Pascal POUSSE has served as Director of the Gerontology Association of Gâtine (Department of Deux-Sèvres, France) since 2008. This structure gathers professionals servicing a territory of 175,000 inhabitants (of whom 30% are over 60), where several services (coordination services, networks, programmes, platforms) have been set up with the aim of coordinating the actions and participants involved in elderly care to ensure global care services. |
